Blue Belt · Top Control
This is a control and pressure clip, not a submission lesson: for the full 24 seconds the top player (black gi) holds chest-to-chest side control with head-and-arm control against a defending partner (white gi, blue belt), adjusting his base and pressure as the partner frames and pushes. **No submission finish is shown anywhere in this clip** — nobody taps, and the clip ends with the top player still on top in a raised crouch.
The clip opens in established side control. The top player is sprawled chest-to-chest, head low by the partner's head, with one hand reaching down to control the partner's far knee/leg so the hips cannot turn in.
The top player briefly lifts and resets his base — his leg comes up and over as he adjusts — then drops his weight back down into the same heavy chest-to-chest pressure, hand still on the partner's leg.
He comes more upright for a moment, holding his own leg/belt area while he reorganizes, then settles straight back down into side control. The partner stays flat and covered the whole time.
The longest stretch: the partner pushes frames into the top player's shoulder and face and tries to make space, and the top player answers by driving his head in low, wrapping the head-and-arm control tighter, and staying heavy. The partner's hand ends up on the top player's head without moving him.
In the final seconds the top player comes up off his belly into a crouch — knee up near the partner's torso, one hand posted on the mat by the partner's head — still controlling the partner, who remains on his back. The clip ends here, mid-position.
